In light of the unforgivable invasion of Austria by the Ottoman Empire, led by a Sultan who has so recklessly disregarded the peace treaties signed with Austria, Poland, and the Russian Empire, the three sovereigns, Leopold I Holy Roman Emperor, Augustus II King of Poland, and Tsar Peter of the Russian Empire, have through a great reversal of relations agreed on this day to re-establish the Holy Alliance of 1683-1697. The three sovereigns, in the name and defence of European civilisation and Christendom, have vowed to direct their energies and wills against the barbarous armies of the Ottoman invader, and have therefore willingly agreed to commit to the struggle of struggles against the the Sultan until such a time that European civilisation and Christendom be considered both safe and secure. Austria offered the Sultan peace in 1703, he recklessly chose war in 1704. By the grace of God, let these steps be their last; may the Alliance throw back the Ottomans into the sea from whence they came.
This treaty has been approved and signed by Leopold I, Holy Roman Emperor and Tsar Peter of the Russian Empire, Doge Alvise II of Venice
It awaits the ascension of the King of Poland:
