Due to the war with Sweden, and the necessity for the King to be on campaign, the Sejm has not been called for 5 years, where it should be called every 2. The King calls the Sejm to meet in Warsaw, where they will be treated to a triumph of the victorious armies before business.
As is tradition, the King will address the Sejm with the State of the Commonwealth, where he will announce the executive actions taken and to be taken by the Crown, prior to putting forward legislation and other requests.

The King arrives in Warsaw, at the head of the victorious army. The streets are prepared in advance, bunting strewn from pillar to post, drinks and sundries laid on for the population.
Flanked by the glorious figure of Hetman Sieniawski, the King-Elector parades up Nowy Swiat, followed by the Polish Guard and other Hussars. Trumpets blare in the sunshine, and the folk assembled along the street cry out, singing patriotic songs. It has been a long time since Poland has won a war without facing terrible hardship and cost, and people are jubilant.
He addresses the crowd at Zygmund's Column, and leads the people in a prayer of thanks, before entering the Royal Castle to convene the Sejm.
After the traditional mass, the Sejm convenes in the Great Chamber of the Palace, August stands to address them:
"Gentlemen, my noble friends, it has been five years since last we were assembled, an abnormality I know. This is, as you are all aware, the result of the hostilities with Sweden, which I am extremely pleased to say are over. I am proud to say that Riga has been liberated, and returned to Commonwealth rule, thanks be to God",
the King takes a moment as the nobles mutter contentedly before restarting,
"The Lord, however, has not seen fit to give us rest. The rumours abound of a Turkish invasion of Hungary are true. Even as I speak the Great Turk marshals his armies towards Vienna... I have in my hand here a letter from the Emperor himself calling upon Poland for aid. In accordance with the Holy Alliance signed by my predecessor's predecessor, he calls upon the Commonwealth to come to his defence. We had all hoped that war with the Turk had been ended, put behind us. Alas, it seems that we have simply been living in a calm between two storms. It is essential that we stand strong against this invasion, as the protectors of Christendom, and of justice. I call upon you to legitimise this war, and to provide all the support you can to ensure that the Lord's will be done. Deus Vult."

The nobles confer among themselves for some time, before reaching a verdict. Prince Michał Serwacy Wiśniowiecki, Marshall of the Sejm, took to his feet. He was a loyal chap, who had backed Augustus for the Crown during the deliberations of 1700. He ended his long and impassioned speech with the news that the gathering had hoped to hear: The Commonwealth could not stand by while Turks once again ravage Europe. Cries of "Deus Vult" could be heard, as the chamber became consumed by applause.

After words of thanks and congratulations, the King requests that the Sejm confer what aid they can to the state, so as to ensure victory in the war.

Clarification on the Polish/Saxon armies:
OoC: this is probably my fault for sowing confusion by writing different bits in different places...
IC: After signing the Treaty of Stralsund, the Army of the Saxons (including all Saxon Line Infantry which were at the time garrisoning Saxony), together with the Army of Poland (which had been en route to relieve Stralsund, and the Royal Army, which had been campaigning with the Army of the Saxons, all march to muster in Warsaw for the Sejm.
