With the arrival of Vendome's forces at Munich France immediately enforces neutrality on the Margraviate of Baden-Baden, upon the conclusion of prior negotiations between the French and Bavarian governments at Munich. The Margrave of Baden-Baden, the great Turkenlouis, is put under (comfortable) house-arrest at the elector's residence at Fürstenried until he agrees to sign and ratify the treaty.

TurkenLouis is reluctant to sign any treaty. However, in not signing the Treaty his neutrality is de facto anyway as Baden cannot continue the war should any harm befall their leader. He will remain under House Arrest until the conclusion of the war, unless his captors receive a ransom they deem fair.
