The Danish delegate indicates Frederick IV's approval and consent, noting the devastation that the wars have caused and the subsequent deleterious effects on Danish trade income.
However, Frederick IV indicates there must be a formally stipulated charter and Constitution for the founding of the Hansa. He sees the peace and the formation of the League as being fundamentally intertwined, a status quo post bellum which would ensure the parties forming it (Sweden) could not use the force of arms to twist negotiations at a later date.
As a sop to the Swedes, Frederick IV has called for a general ceasefire and has halted any commands for Danish-Norwegian troops to enter Swedish territory. A general ceasefire by all parties until the terms of the Constitution are ratified would make for a good basis of delineating future good-neighbourly relations.

Frederick IV sighs...
He accepts Peace, if the Great powers of France and the Three-Kingdoms and the Dutch become signatories to the Peace Treaty. Denmark has lost much treasure and would like to pursue a policy of strict neutrality.

The government of Louis XIV regretfully informs the government of Denmark-Norway that France is unable to perform the role of signatory to the peace treaty mentioned as it is still involved in ongoing hostilities with the Kingdom of Sweden, as per its membership of an alliance affiliated with that of the Grand Alliance.
France will however sign and ratify the annex pertaining to the constitution of the Hansa.
