National Modifiers:
Envälde: The Riksdag of the Estates has proclaimed the King as an Absolute Monarch, he need no longer consult his privy council for advice, although the Riksdag also seems to have gained a significant amount of power from this decree...
The Reduction Ordeal: Charles' high authority has allowed him to persuade the Riksdag to accept the Reduction Ordeal. Through this the Crown can reclaim any and all land, wealth or other property from those it has previously loaned to. This allows the King to sporadically increase the Crown's income at will, though this will leave some Lords and landowners particularly displeased.
Ruler Modifiers:
Last of the Vikings: Even at a young age Charles has demonstrated a strong aptitude for military theory, strategy, tactics and combat techniques. He is known to an almost inhuman resistant to pain, cold, hunger and fatigue, rarely showing emotion of any kind. His presence on the battlefield is a great boost to his troops' morale.
Tax Reforms: Charles has a very capable mind for governance, and is able to instigate many major tax and legal reforms without damaging his support among the nobles (to an extent).
