In order to prevent Siebenbürgen becoming the new parade ground of the European great powers, who may wish to use the crisis as a means of furthering their own agendas, His Imperial Majesty, Leopold I, has ordered all Austrian border points increase their checks on imported products so as to prevent supplies (Muskets, Cannon and Sabres) falling into the hands of any bodies that are not the Imperial Austrian Armies.
Border patrols along the Austrian-Polish border are also to be significantly increased, with riders ready to make for Buda, then Vienna, should security threats move into the Monarchy, for it was Rakoczy who brought a force of Cossacks with him into Austria through the porous borders in the east.
