French forces on the march to Strasbourg from Provence are instructed to "CONSOLIDATE! CONSOLIDATE! MOBILIZE! MOBILIZE!" along the way. New men are to be recruited and trained on the march in order to replace the losses that were suffered against Eugene.*
In addition, the king's military council makes the proclamation that pike formations are to be dispensed with henceforth, and that pikemen ought to be trained in the use of the musket instead.**
*(OoC: This is tricky to cost because of the awkward numbers, I basically just want to replace what was lost. I'm aware this may involve me having to buy whole new units, which is what I am about to cost: 4,000 Line, 1,500 Cuirassiers, 1,500 Dragoons, 500 Musketeers of the Guard = 83,000)
**(OoC: I assume the cost of the upgrade is the difference between Line Infantry and Pikemen. Therefore to upgrade all of France's Pikemen to Line Infantry ought to cost 7 x 1,500 = 10500)

One of your Cuirassiers units was only partially drained, so you'd only have to pay 5,000 to replenish that one. Everything else is good.

Owing to the wanton hostility that has been shown toward the magnanimous benevolence of HM Louis XIV by his Imperial and Anglo-Dutch aggressors, the people of France have petitioned the government to raise a new army to ensure the safety of their loved sovereign. Across the suburbs of Paris, press-gangs patrol the streets and warrens in search of budding soldiering materiel for the new Grande Armée:
20,000 Line Infantry (20 x 5,000) = 100,000 2,000 Grenadiers (2 x 7,000) = 14,000 1,000 Engineers = 8,000 2,000 Dragoons (4 x 8,000) = 32,000 1,000 Cuirassiers (2 x 10,000) = 20,000 200 Field Guns = (4 x 15,000) 60,000
Total: 234,000

In an effort to raise new troops necessary for the recapture of the occupied Spanish Netherlands, the military council of France orders that constabularies and city militias be trained to the same standard as Line Infantry:
2,000 Militiamen at Calais to be trained as 2,000 Line Infantry = 4,000 3,000 Militiamen at Metz to be trained as 3,000 Line Infantry = 6,000 2,000 Militiamen in Gascoigne to be trained as 2,000 Line Infantry = 4,000 2,000 Militiamen at Toulouse to be trained as 2,000 Line Infantry = 4,000 3,000 Militiamen at Paris to be trained as 3,000 Line Infantry = 6,000
In support of this fresh army additional specialized infantry, cavalry and artillery regiments are to be raised:
1,000 Grenadiers = 7,000 1,000 Engineers = 8,000 1,000 Dragoons = 16,000 100 Field Guns = 30,000 100 Howitzers = 40,000
Total: 125,000

Militia to line is 3,000 per unit, I'm afraid, making a total cost of 36,000. I've done your other orders, let me know if you still want to go ahead with the upgrade.

In light of the losses suffered during the siege of Ghent, the Sun King has ordered new men be recruited to supplement those already being mustered in Paris.
10,000 Line Infantry = 50,000
