The Duke of Savoy elaborates his position. Util recently, he relied on an annual subsidy of 20,000 Ducats from the French crown. A relief from the indemnity and the offer of 3,000 Ducats annually from the Dutch will save Turin from Bankruptcy, but will not be enough to help him increase his military power.
