Former privy councilor of the empire Maximilian Karl Albert of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort is hereby appointed Imperial Administrator for the Occupied Territories of the Duchy of Milan.
Maximilian Karl has the trust of Emperor Leopold I after severing him well as an acting imperial adviser since 1684 and other important posts in the imperial government. Leopold I knows him to be an excellent administrator and organiser, and therefore sees him as the perfect candidate
Maximilian Karl is to oversee not only governing of the duchy but its integration into Austria, and begin at the once, as efficiently as possible, the exploitation of the duchy for Austria's current war effort
