William, Prince of Orange, King of England, Scotland and Ireland, and Statdholder of the Dutch Republic has successfully negotiated the recreation of the Grand Alliance with Leopold I of Austria. This move comes after increased French aggression in the Spanish Netherlands and Austria's aggression against Spanish Lombardy in the context of the Spanish Succession debate.
