In the few short months since the increased toll was announced, trade between Brandenburg and Sweden had all but dried out. This has caused major problems for the economy of Brandenburg who call on the Emperor for support in this dispute. But ultimately, this has also had a negative affect on Swedish trade income, and the income of the Empire.
