The Three Kingdoms: Each of the three Kingdoms under William's rule have their own laws, levels of taxation, favoured religion, military and colonial exploits. It will take a skilled ruler to manage all three effectively.
'William was not prone to fear...': '...but if there was anyone he did fear, it was the Duke of Marlborough.' Marlborough is one of the wealthiest and most powerful Lords of England. His desertion in 1688 was critical to the success of William's landing and the entire 'Glorious Revolution.' One of the most feared military commanders in Europe, there are only a handful of men who can best him on sea or land. Treat him well, place him in command and keep him happy - beware his intrigues and ambition.

Available Commanders
Generals
The Duke of Marlborough: Commanding the Royal Army Generally considered the greatest general of the age, but also recognised a proficient admiral. His defection to William's cause was critical to the success of the 'Glorious Revolution' in England. Good Friends with Lord Overkirk and Prince Eugene of Savoy. 10/10
William III, Prince of Orange: No command One of the most well-known soldiers of the 17th Century, he became the Sovereign Prince of Orange upon his birth as his father had died during his mother's pregnancy. His long career has been marked by many decades of rivalry with Louis XIV, another child King. 7/10
Charles Mordaunt, Earl of Peterborough: No Command His career has been unstable. He supported William's initial invasion of England, but was then arrested and placed in the Tower. He was released in 1701 and has yet been unable to find employment. Still, he is a capable and useful commander. 5/10
Admirals
George Rooke: Commanding the Channel Fleet A capable Admiral, he has slowly made his way up the ranks. Whilst a Captain, he was charged with the duty of escorting William to England during the Glorious Revolution. 5/10
Vassal Militaries (can be called at times of War):
New England: 11,000 infantry, 2,000 cavalry, 100 guns; 3 Ships of the Line, 4 Frigates, 8 Transports Newfoundland: 4,000 infantry, 500 Cavalry; 4 Frigates, 3 Transports
Unique Naval Unit:
English Man o’ War:
Cost: 35,000 Ducats
A 124 gun behemoth, the Man O’War is a fearsome weapon to behold. Not only will it blast its way through the battle lines of other European navies, but it’s heavy armament is likely to intimidate more helpless powers into concession.
Power rating: 9

OOC: FYI William III died in 1702. Current ruler is Queen Anne, who rules with her husband, Prince George of Denmark.

And Russia spent 20 years fighting Sweden until peace was reached. The reason William is still alive is because in reality he died from the complications of an accident and not from old age. The point of this game isn't that things should perfectlty mirror reality.

I am aware of this. Playable characters who have died are more likely to die in situations where death is possible. For example in battle or assassination attempts.
