Gordon opens the doors of Pyotrs study and looks for the young Tsar. Pyotr was sitting at his desk looking at a map.
"Pyotr! Bad news I'm afraid, the damned Ottomans are moving on the Caucuses!" Gordon looked quite worried.
"Well, it was to be expected..."
"What do you propose we do Sir?" Gordon was now looking at the large globe, examining the Caucasus region.
"We plan my friend, we plan." Pyotr went back to his maps.
A new army is announced!
The Army of the Caucuses is formed with the following regiments composing its main body. The Army will be based in Tsaritsin (Volgograd) and will be responsible for the defense of Russian interests in the region.
20 Regiments of Line infantry (From the 21 regiments recruited last year)
8 Regiments of Militia Cavalry from the Army of Moscow
2 Regiments of Dragoons from the Army of Ukraine
4 Regiments of Cossacks from the Army of Ukariane
200 Howitzers from the army of Poland and Ukraine
150 Field guns (50 each from the Armies of Moscow, Finland and Poland)
The Army will be commanded by the talented General Boris Petrovich Sheremetev. He is expected to perform well and carry out his duties unto the end.
