In the spirit of free enterprise, Charles XI draws a royal charter offering the riches of Karlstad to whatever Swedish company reclaims and populates the area.
It is known, from the trader that the land is highly fertile and rich in resources.
However, the previous colony came under attack.
Charles XI offers a discount on 3 transports of 50% to the company, along with 2 regiments of infantry of the line, to assist with the proactive attack of hostile forces in the area. The remainder of the expedition should be funded bby those nobles aand boyars in search of profit- much of what they find will be there own, the Crown shall not tax work or trade under the terms of the previous exemption

Admins - could you please notify when said funds from the company formation/purchase arrive in the treasury?
The company is free to do and continue to use the transports as they see fit.

The French ambassador is cordially informed that bridges burned must be repaired before they can be crossed again.
At present, Sweden holds no embassy in Paris following the expulsion of its ambassador.

No company is willing to pay to purchase what remains of the colony, a few are willing to go and reclaim it in the King's name, but require funding.
The Duchy of Courland, however, does seem interested in purchasing the colony. But may need to borrow funding from the Commonwealth to afford it.

After much shuffling and many 'hurumphs,' the Stenbock family agrees to charter a company on (hopefully) agreeable terms. They offer to charter a course for the colony, in return they hope to receive 50% of the colony's income. Three transports and two units of line infantry will be deployed to join them. They also suggest that Karlstad could be bought back in full by the Swedish crown in the future, though the amount it will cost will increase with the colony's value.
OOC: Colonial income is decided by the value of the colony, the amount of continents you are present in and naval organisation. Therefore a colony's base income is multiplied by the other factors resulting in it's overall value. When Karlstad is fully developed, it will be 3 + 3*0.2(continents colonised/10) = 3.6 + 3*0.3(naval organisation) = 4.5. Therefore Karlstad's maximum income in the current colonial climate will be 4,500 per annum. If you're happy to take half of this, then Sweden will receive 2,250 per annum from Karlstad. Apologies for boring you with the details!
