Sound of the closure of the Sound!
His Royal Highness, Frederick IV has ordered the closure of the Sound to all navies of nations engaged in War.
This will henceforth (immediately) be the default position of the kingdom of Denmark-Norway and applies to movements in and out of the Baltic unless expressly permitted by the Danish-Norwegian crown.
The Sound will be closed additionally following noon (as judged by naval observations) until 30 minutes past, and 12 hours following for a subsequent 30 minutes. Warning guns will be sounded 30 minutes prior to these closures to allow for clearing of a demarcated area.
Further to this, the forts will be training the guns daily in the above alloted times on floating targets, at both day and night.
OOC: Richard would it be possible to have an estimate for the above?

If you're simply closing the Sound to shipping, it shouldn't cost anything. But you will need a few ships to patrol the area.

Of course - meant for the daily practice - but given professional navies did this it's probably assumed in the upkeep.
Current Danish navy in area is on patrol duty then
